Brents 30th Birthday!

Brent turned 30 yesterday! I couldnt pass up an opportunity to throw him a party. It was a surprise party and it took everything in me to not slip up and say something about it. My day started out picking up the cake in Salt Lake, it wasnt what I wanted, but it looked good and tasted great!

I also spent the majority of my day decorating at Brents parents house...

On one wall I had all of the pictures of him growing up... 3 months to 19 years old...

It took scheming with Brents dad to get him there, it worked out and not only did we have a giant cake, but there was lots of candy and a chocolate fountain...

It was Annie's favorite part, yeah thats chocolate on her eyebrow, its cool...

We had to take some pictures of Brent with the cake...

It was lots of fun and his friends from school came and all of his family... including his 2 cousins that we need to hang out with way more often...

After most people left Annie and her favorite cousin Gavin had a blast on the tramp...

It was a great party, Brent was completely surprised, he had no idea, it was a great success! Thanks to everyone helping me pull it off!

Annie's Idea

What did you do with the grass from your Easter basket? Annie has an idea for you...

My sister in law, Michelle, and I went to Vegas with our kids for spring break to visit her, and Brent's, sister Melissa. I was so so nervous about the drive, but my kids did really well considering anytime when we are at home and I try and put Maycie in the car she screams. And Michelle's kids are always good. So it went way better than I thought!

I dont know what happened but I only took a few pictures... Annie outside in Melissa's backyard...

The only other pictures I got were the kids swimming with Leon and Megan at the pool...

And the girls lounging with Sandy, cause Maycie obviously didn't want to be in the pool...

The drive home was just as good as the drive down... we are going to have to take more trips!

Spring Break, Snow Canyon

 Over Brent's spring break we went to Snow Canyon in St. George. It was pretty cold, but the girls loved playing in the dirt.

They loved watching daddy build the fire...

We roasted marshmallows...

They loved running around...

Maycie the safety conscious person that she is tried to put herself into the stroller. She stood there crying for like 3 minutes, while I found the camera and took the picture...

Maycie came around the corner while I was getting ready for church on Sunday, Brent says he didnt help her, like this...

 

Yes, thats a pull-up on her head... and just so you know, it was clean!

A Cabin Trip!

We got invited to an awesome cabin for the day and the girls had a blast! Pretty much just because they liked to run around...

Annie loved to stare at the giant moose head...

but sadly I think her favorite part was playing with the cooler...

We did eventually get them to go outside and they did have fun...

They had fun sledding...

Annie asked Brent to build her a snowman and this is what he made for her...

Maycie was so upset she couldnt handle it...

It was a blast!!

I was making this delicious dessert, so delicious that Brent couldnt help but giving Maycie a taste...

She really enjoyed  the taste...

Lucky for me she was more interested in the cake than the giant knife next to it!
