raking leaves & tractors

Annie and Nana spent some time raking leaves...

While Maycie pouted on the porch...

Later Annie spent some time with Brent landscaping my parents yard...

They finished the landscaping. No more until next summer!

solid food here we come...

Ollie had his first solid food experience. It didn't start out so well.
He certainly didn't seem happy anyway...

But he ended up enjoying it...

He's getting bigger by the minute it seems and its sad
and exciting all at the same time.

6 months old

Its so crazy to think that Ollie is 6 months. He is such a sweetie!

He can roll from his back to his front. He likes to suck 4 of his fingers at a time.

He got his first tooth. He's started to say lots of sounds like baba, dada, and lala.

He started holding his bottle by himself. He got his 2nd tooth.

And today he started clapping his hands. So many milestones. I love it!

My boy loves to eat his toes...

He was a good sport but was done by the end...

I love you and all your funny faces my sweet boy!

picnic in the canyon

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to have
picnics in the canyon...

The girls love to climb up the dirt...

And Ollie loves to lay on the blanket...

The girls favorite part is always throwing rocks in the river with daddy...

As the weather get a little cooler it gets more
fun to spent our evenings up the canyon!

the zoo

We went to the Hogle Zoo with a few of our best friends, Rhiannon, Reed, and Taryn.
It was so much fun and really hot.

They watched the monkeys...

Elephants are one of our favorite things to see when we go to the zoo...

While the big kids watched the elephants Ollie played with his giraffe...

Ollie was just happy to sit and play...

The baby elephant came out as we were about to walk away...

The rhinos didn't look real...

They loved the bright colors of the birds...

It was fun to see the bears playing in the river...

They were excited to see the tigers...

They love the giraffes...

When you go to the zoo you have to stop and take a picture and
see if you are as tall as an ape...

And we ended our day with a ride on the train. Scarier than you would think,
there were buffalo's with their heads through the wires in the fence,
and Annie who was on the edge didn't really enjoy it after that.
