She's on the move!

This ADORABLE little girl . . .

figured out how to sit up at 5 months and 12 days . . .

. . . and has also decided it is TIME TO MOVE!!

She has been going backwards and around in circles for about a week and as of today,  at 5 months and 14 days, has decided she can get up on all fours and move forward!

I cannot tell you how excited I am. She hates sitting still and not being able to run after Annie, so this is pretty awesome!

She is almost as thrilled about it as I am! Yay Maycie!!

. . . the 5th!

For the 5th of July we did our normal 4th traditions. We woke up super early and went to watch the balloons. Annie loved it!

Daddy and Annie watched the Coca Cola balloon go up . . .

Thats weird, they have the same hair style . . .

Cool dudes, early in the morning . . .

Pretty awesome shot . . .

Some of the buds watching the balloons . . .

Annie and Papa watching the balloons land . . .

And then, we went to the Freedom Festival parade. It was Annie's first parade and she loved it!

Me & Kels chillin' at the parade . . .

It was a long parade so everybody decided to take a nap on Maycie ...

Later that day we went on a picnic with Brents family. There were horses and we all know how much Annie LOVES animals!

Annie was also lucky enough that Aunt Michelle gave Annie a ride on the car around the park . . .

It was the best 4th and 5th of July we've had together!

The 4th . . .

Get ready for TONS of pictures.

The 4th, big family party at Auntie Cheryls with the Clancys! So much fun!!

Annie took the time during the car ride up to do her homework...

Then the party started!

Lots of fun and a lot of music from Paul(the best piano player ever)...

Its hard work finding the perfect song to serenade your family with...

Kelsey just sat and enjoyed all the songs...
The continuation of our 4th of July holiday continued on the 5th. I will post pictures on Monday.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Its really late, but it was my birthday at the end of June and I want to post pictures of the day.

When I came downstairs in the morning Brent had decorated the ceiling.

A quick picture with my girls...

We moved the day after my birthday so most of the day was spent packing. But in the evening we went and saw Toy Story 3 and had dinner at The Roof.

Dinner was good...

They had lovely desserts...

But the rolls were fantastic, warm and delicious...

I had a lovely little brithday Creme Brulee...

We acted like cheesy tourists and had the waiter take our picture...

We attempted to take a few ourselves too...

After dinner we went on a walk around Temple Square and took a nice picture...

Also some strange ones...
It was a really good day thanks to my thoughtful husband!

Cinnamon Buns

When Cinnabon left the University Mall years ago, I was sad. They were so good. This recipe is almost identical. It is delicious and not very difficult.

Cinnamon Rolls

Dough

1 cup Warm Milk (110°F)
2 Eggs, Room Temp
4 ¾ cups Bread Flour
1/3 cup Margarine, Melted
½ cup White Sugar
2 ½ tsp Yeast
1 tsp Salt

Dissolve yeast in warm milk in a large bowl. Mix in the sugar, margarine, salt , and eggs. Add flour and mix well. Heat oven to 200° and turn off. Put dough in a greased bowl, cover and put in oven for about an hour or until doubled. After the dough has doubled its size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest 10 minutes. In a small bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

Cinnamon Mixture
2 ½ Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
1 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
1/3 cup Butter, Softened

Roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 16 minutes. While rolls are baking beat together all ingredients for the icing.

Icing
¼ cup Butter, Softened
1 - 3oz pkg. Cream Cheese, Softened
1 ½ cups Powdered Sugar
½ tsp Vanilla
1/8 tsp Salt

Spread icing on rolls while still warm.
