Annie lays in my bed during nap time and goes through all of the stuff in my nightstand. 

Today she came out with 'earrings' in her ears. She's pretty silly.

the day after birthday cake

The day after a birthday is almost as good as the birthday cause there is always leftover cake!

Ollie enjoyed it too, just without the cake...

annie's 4th birthday!

Annie requested a Pinkalicious birthday party and I was happy to oblige. 

I went to town with the pink decorations. 

We got pink balloons...

A pink banner...

Tissue paper flowers hung from the beams...

A pink flower cake...

And our birthday girl had to have a fluffy pink tutu...

And our tradition to have a pinata at every birthday continued. 

I couldn't find a pinkalicious one so a cupcake one sufficed...

Lots of friends came to celebrate with with us...

 

She got a big bike for her birthday and she loves it!

ryanne's blessing

Peter and Natalie blessed baby Ryanne so we went up to spend time with them. 

It was a really nice blessing and her dress was so beautiful... 

There were tons of family and I only got a couple of pictures.

Annie and Maycie had a blast with Brynlee and Ajae playing preschool the whole time.

 

camping at south fork

We decided we would be brave and  go camping all by ourselves. We decided to go up Spanish Fork Canyon. Turns out we didn't pick a very good weekend for weather. It was nice on our way up the canyon and the girls were so excited to go and they loved seeing all of the windmills...

We got there and Brent started to set up the tent and it started to rain...

So we went in the car and watched a movie while he finished...

By this time it was time for dinner and so Brent 

fashioned a way for us to make dinner in the rain...

After we got the kids to bed it stopped long enough for us to have a fire...

Through the night it was pouring rain and there was tons of thunder and lightening. When we woke up in the morning it was pouring rain and we had no choice but to bring the kids picnic table in the tent and eat breakfast...

So we spent our morning in the tent hoping the rain would stop...

It didn't stop so we put everything away in the rain and when we left this is what it looked like...

It wasn't raining when we got home so we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bishops and 

roasted our hotdogs and had s'mores... 

We'll have to try again when we know the weather will be better!
