brent graduated!!!

Brent graduated on Friday, April 27th with a Bachelors degree in Biotechnology.
Summa Cum Laude. Thats a 3.9 GPA or higher. He ended up with a 3.93.

We sat around waiting for it to start...

Brents name in the program...

Graduations are quite the lengthy process.
But I'm glad I made him do it. I think Ollie's face in this picture describes how
we were feeling while they read the 300 names...

With the wonderful camera I have, this is the best
picture I got of him holding his diploma...

Family pictures after...

Brent's parents...

My parents...

Graduates in Biotechnology...

Our parents took us to dinner after to celebrate...

We are so proud of him and his hard work for the last 4 years!

the tulip festival

I have really been wanting to go to the tulip festival and never made it. But now that I have 3 kids and only a double stroller I thought it would be a great idea.... Luckily my sister was home and she came with us. Annie was so excited but it was so bright she needed her sunglasses...

There were some cool trees out front...

It was different than I thought it would be. I was imagining just a giant field of tulips
but it was a long path with flowers along it...

The girls had to stop and smell the tulips...

They loved running on the grass through the flowers...

Getting them to smile is always difficult but especially when the sun is
so bright it seems to be extra hard...

Oh wait.... I do have 3 kids...

The flowers were so beautiful...

Some pretty pictures I took...

They were dying of heat at the end but we'll definitely have to go
back only if Kelsey comes with us...

ollie's blessing

We blessed Ollie on Sunday April 22nd, 2012. He is so adorable!

Brent & I with Ollie...

Grandpa Bishop, Brent, & Ollie...

Grandpa and Grandma Bishop with Ollie...

Nana and Papa Belliston with Ollie...

Grandma, Nana, Annie, Maycie & Ollie...

Great Grandpa Belliston, Papa, Brent & Ollie...

Great Grandma Shaw & Ollie...

And just cause we were all together we took a picture of all the girls on the Shaw side of the family. Me, my Mum, Grandma Shaw, Auntie Cheryl, and Kelsey...

More pictures with Annie and Maycie too...

Once everyone left the girls figured out that apparently chips in the chocolate fountain are more delicious than strawberries and bananas!

And Papa prepared the cake pan for the dishwasher...

We are so happy for our little family and grateful for all the friends and family
that came to support us!

And Ollie was done by the end of the day from all the
pictures I made him sit through...
