5 months old

My happy baby is 5 months old. He is still full of smiles. He loves to sit up while we hold his hands. One of his favorite things is to suck on 2 or 3 of his fingers at a time. He also started rolling from his front to his back.

Lots of firsts are headed our way!

I put my happy boy down for a nap this direction...

20 minutes later he is fast asleep on his tummy...

an hour later he is the other direction...

Probably one of my favorite things to do is to check on my 

kids while they sleep cause they move so much and they are so cute!

ryanne elizabeth

My brother Peter and his wife Natalie had a beautiful baby girl on July 12th. Her name is Ryanne Elizabeth and she is so sweet. She has perfect kissable cheeks and her dads nose...

She has beautiful long fingers and the longest skinny feet...

I think Ollie wasn't so sure when Ryanne started to cry...

The girls were happy to see her but were having more fun playing hide and seek 

so I feel lucky to have gotten this picture...

She is so cute and we are so excited to have her in our family...

 

lava lamps

So this summer we got some of Annie's friends together and we made lava lamps. They had so much fun and it was such a surprise for the kids to see the bubbles...

freedom festival parade

After we go to the hot air balloons we head over to the parade. Its really hard to find a spot so luckily Brent's Grandma and Aunt saved us spots...

 Grandma Shaw was with us all day! It was great!

The sirens are so loud all the kids covered their ears not just Maycie...

After the parade we went and got ice cream..

Nana didn't get ice cream just a diet coke, surprise surprise...

This could be my favorite holiday!
 

hot air balloons

On the 4th of July we always go to watch the hot air balloons. Its an early morning, we try to be there by 6am. Its totally worth it and it gets better every year cause Annie and Maycie are excited to go now too.

They start to blow up...

and we take a breakfast break...

They finish blowing up and start to take off...

 Its so cool to see them all up in the air...

and some take a nap while they wait for the balloons to come back...
